Fall River Illuminated: Inaugural Lighting of the “We Here” Mural
A Public Art Lighting Celebration. Come see how art and light are transforming Fall River’s skyline.
Join the Isosceles Alliance for Illuminating Fall River, a public art initiative dedicated to lighting the city’s murals and architectural landmarks—bringing new life, visibility, and vibrancy to Fall River after dark.
The first installation highlights “We Here” (2022) by internationally recognized artist Add Fuel, located at 207 Pocasset Street. This stunning mural celebrates Fall River’s enduring Portuguese culture and community through contemporary ceramic-inspired design.
With the addition of architectural lighting, the mural will now shine into the evening—enhancing the nighttime streetscape, improving visibility, and creating a more welcoming and dynamic downtown environment.
This event celebrates the first step in a larger vision to illuminate Fall River’s hillsides, public art, and historic architecture—using creative placemaking to bring energy, beauty, and civic pride to our city.
Come celebrate with us, meet the community partners behind the project, and experience how art, light, and collaboration are helping shape Fall River’s creative future.
